The short version

TierListTool has no accounts and collects no personal information itself. Your tier lists live in your own browser, images you add never leave your device, and the only measurement we run is standard Google Analytics.

What stays on your device

Tier lists you build are saved to your browser's local storage so they survive a refresh. Images you upload are converted to small thumbnails and stored the same way — they are never transmitted to our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them completely.

Share links

When you use Share link, the text items and tier layout of your list are encoded into the link itself. Anyone who has that link can see the list, and the encoded list may appear in server request logs like any URL. Uploaded images are deliberately excluded from share links. Don't put personal information in list titles or items you intend to share.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage (pages visited, country, device type, feature events such as "downloaded an image"). GA sets cookies and processes data under Google's privacy policy. We don't use this data to identify individuals.

Advertising

We may show ads served by third parties such as Google AdSense. Ad vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. We will update this section when advertising goes live.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on Vercel, loads fonts from Google Fonts and the export library from the cdnjs CDN. These providers may see standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) as part of serving files.

Children

TierListTool is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
