Overwatch tier lists fall apart the second you ignore role. A hero is only S within tank, DPS or support — comparing Kiriko to Winston is a category error. Rank per role first, then argue across. The other confound is skill floor vs. ceiling: Tracer and Genji dominate in pro play and feed in Bronze, so a GM list and a ladder list disagree on purpose. Map and comp dependency finish the chaos — dive tanks spike on open maps, Mauga sinks into hitscan. Say your rank and your role or the reply guys will do it for you.
Pick one. Pro/GM lists reward high-skill-ceiling heroes (Tracer, Genji, Ana) that punish low ranks; ladder lists reward easy value (Reaper, Moira, Soldier). A hero can be S in one and C in the other — label which ladder you live on.
